Ozzy Osbourne: Farewell to ‘Working Class Hero’

In the final weeks of the ‘Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero’ Exhibition join us on a last chance tour. We will explore behind the scenes of the exhibition and go in depth into some of the objects including Ozzy’s throne from the ‘Back to the Beginning’ Show at Villa Park. The tour will be led by our Visitor Experience team, the same team that managed the Book of Condolences after Ozzy passed.

Please meet in the Round Room of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Your tour guide will meet you with a blue flag.

About the ‘Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero’ Exhibition: ‘Working Class Hero’ showcases Ozzy’s most prestigious international honours – including Grammy Awards, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame accolades, MTV awards, Hollywood Walk of Fame and Birmingham Walk of Stars honours and a selection of his platinum and gold discs which recognise millions of record sales around the world, alongside photography and video that charts his journey from “a working-class kid from Aston” to becoming the world’s most recognisable global rock legend.

Ozzy Osbourne’s iconic throne is now also on display. Originally built for Ozzy’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2024, the throne was last seen during his solo performance and Black Sabbath’s final concert on 5 July 2025 at Villa Park.
