Discover Stirchley Institute, now known as Stirchley Community Church

Use a family-friendly trail leaflet and in-situ information sheets and photographs to guide you around parts of the building over three floors, including the cellar (weather permitting, wear suitable footwear). Exterior of the building is viewed from adjacent public pavements.

Drinks and very light refreshments in the pop-up ‘Cyclists Café’ during the morning. Assistance dogs only. Toilet facilities, including/baby change, available while the building is open.

Access to cellar is via steps only, which may be damp. Entry via Hazelwell Street.

How to get there:
Railway: Bournville station/Cross City Line is only few hundred yards away. Pineapple Road station/Camp Hill Line is further away near top of Cartland Road. Buses: stops for 45/47 and 27 are all nearby; 11A/11C approx ¼ mile away to the south; no 76 approx ¼ mile to the north. Sorry, NO on-site parking, there may be space on adjacent roads e.g. Ribblesdale Road, then walk through Stirchley Park to Bournville Lane or Hazelwell Street.
