Leaf Arts are repeating last year’s very successful ‘silent walk’ with new music. Relive your ‘everyday history’ through music in the tree lined avenues of Brandwood End Cemetery. The music will bring back memories and some of it may be new, but you will enjoy every tune. Call it a silent disco or a silent walk – you can feel free to sing along or jig about as the mood takes you, knowing that no one else will be listening to you as they will have their own headphones and be involved themselves!
You will be led around the winding avenues through old and new headstone in this beautiful Victorian Cemetery and as there is nothing to hear (due to your headphones) you may be treated to some of the amazing birds and wildlife along the way. Music feeds the soul and is of its time, so invokes memories for everyone. Come and join us and you won’t be able to stop yourself smiling! Stout footwear is advisable and suitable outdoor clothing dependent on the weather.
How to get there: The No. 50 and 18 and 35 buses stop nearby. The outer circle No 11 is a 15-minute walk away. Plenty of parking.
