Birmingham Honey Show

Head to Winterbourne House and Garden for Birmingham’s biggest celebration of all things honey. Make a day of it by exploring historic Winterbourne house, built in 1904 in the style of the Arts and Crafts movement. Examples of local craftmanship can be found throughout the house.

In the beautiful botanical gardens, experience live hive demonstrations, buy local honey, and enjoy family activities. Get up close to an observation hive, as expert local beekeepers offer a rare glimpse into the fascinating inner workings of a colony. Learn how honey is made, watch bees at work, and ask your burning beekeeping questions. Stock up on delicious jars of local honey and handcrafted products from independent businesses or get hands-on with traditional candle rolling—a favourite activity for visitors of all ages. On Sunday, don’t miss the exciting prize-giving ceremony, showcasing the best of regional beekeeping with awards across a variety of categories.

Enjoy delicious refreshments from the Terrace Tea Room, overlooking Winterbourne’s buzzing garden. Whether you’re a seasoned beekeeper, a nature lover, an Arts & Crafts lover, or simply searching for a unique day out, the Birmingham Honey Show promises a sweet experience for everyone.
