Birmingham Buddhist Vihara & Dhamma Talaka Peace Pagoda

Birmingham Buddhist Vihara was founded by the late Ven. Dr. Rewata Dhamma and was officially opened in 1989. The Pagoda celebrated its Golden Jubilee in July 2025 commemorating the arrival of Dr. Rewata Dhamma to Birmingham in 1975. Under the stupa is a hall with a shrine where religious ceremonies take place. There are two other buildings in the grounds. Sangharam Vihara is where the resident monks reside and the other Rewata Dhamma Hall where higher Buddhist teachings take place.

How to get there:
No 80 Bus (Birmingham City Centre to Smethwick) stops on Icknield Port Road-Osler Street Stop.
Buses on Hagley Road stop at IVY Bush which is about 10 minutes walk to Osler Street.
Osler Street is about 15-20 minutes walk from Edgbaston Village Tram Station
