Stories from the Stones
Be part of this fascinating project, started by Caring for God’s Acre, to record the inscriptions on memorials and headstones in Brandwood End. The cemetery has been geo mapped and we are able to then transfer this information to individual grave sites in the cemetery that are recorded as squares on the map.
No equipment is required, the initial work is done with pencil on paper.
This event is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
The entrance to the cemetery is in Woodthorpe Road, between Stonemason and car valet service. Parking is available in the cemetery grounds. No 18 bus stops nearby.
