St Agatha’s Church Sparkbrook

An opportunity to view a very fine grade one listed building.  Church members will be available to guide you around and answer your questions.  For many years now we have welcomed visitors. We will provide a friendly welcome and refreshments, but if you prefer to look around on your own, we can provide a handy printed guide.  Whether you are interested in architecture, history or finding out more about Christian worship, St Agatha’s is the place to visit.

A good time to hear the organ play is around midday on Sundays.

About your visit:
Light refreshments available for purchase.  Children very welcome.  Well-behaved dogs welcome.  Please be respectful if there is worship continuing or people praying.

There are limited parking spaces inside the church gates and we welcome anyone with mobility needs to use those.  If you would like us to reserve you a space, please contact us in advance with an approximate arrival time.  If there is any other way that we can assist with any special requirements or access needs, please get in touch by email

Donations to the upkeep of the church building welcomed.

How to get there:
Bus routes 2,3,4,5,6 all pass directly outside the church (alight near Aldi).  There is very restricted parking space at the church, and it is on a Red Route.  On Sundays the Red route restrictions do not apply so parking is possible on Stratford Road.  Otherwise, Mole Street is the nearest place to park. We request most people do not park inside the church grounds so there are spaces for anyone with mobility needs. If you arrive by bicycle or scooter, we encourage you to bring it into the church with you, so it is safe.
