Songs of Praise and Heritage Fayre, Castle Bromwich Church

Join us for a “Songs of Praise” style service featuring local histories at St Mary’s and St Margaret’s Church in Castle Bromwich.  Prior to the service there will be a short procession from Castle Bromwich Hall to the Church (once the family’s private chapel). Everyone is invited to come in period dress (Georgian, Edwardian or Victorian) or hats and join the procession. The service will feature local histories and anecdotes from the church and surrounding areas.

The service is followed by a Heritage Fayre. There will be refreshments and children’s activities.

Songs of Praise at 11am. Church Open and Heritage Fayre from 12.30pm to 4pm.

While in the area you could also explore Castle Bromwich Hall gardens, just next door. Walking through the restored baroque gardens you will see how the gardens, the church, the Hall and the land around it, were once all part of the same estate owned by the same family for generations. Gardens open 10.30am-4.30pm.
