Scout Jamboree reminiscence walks

Two opportunities to undertake a walk starting from Boldmere Gate and taking in areas of the Park associated with the World Scout Jamboree held there in 1957. Led by Alan Smith, who will illustrate the walk with photographs to compare views of then and now.

On Saturday only, the nearby Scout Café will be open 9am until 11am for drinks and snacks.

A photographic display will be available from 9.45am and after the walk which will last approx. 3 hours. Toilets available at the start and finish of the walk.

Booking is essential as places will be limited.  The event is free but donations to Scout funds will be welcomed at the end.

Walk starts at Boldmere Gate, Sutton Park. Public car park once inside the entrance to the Park.  Meet at Scout hut on opposite side of entrance road.
