Places of Worship Heritage Trail, Lozells & Handsworth
Join us on our urban, interfaith trail around Lozells & Handsworth to see the diversity of faiths, the beauty of religious buildings & the vibrant faith communities in this area. Alongside this, we will trace themes of migration and industrialisation, particularly in the light of the 75th anniversary of Windrush.
The trail is approx. 2.5 miles along local roads. We will be stopping at 9 different places of worship, hearing personal stories of faith at each one, and going inside some buildings for a deeper understanding of that faith community in action. More information on the trail here
