Lost Children Exhibition
This exhibition tells the story of The Middlemore Homes which emigrated over 5000 destitute children from Birmingham to new lives, chiefly in Canada, but also Australia, between the years 1873 to 1954. Their future lives varied enormously. Some thrived and did well and some were unhappy. The exhibition includes some of their individual stories in detail.
