Divine Beauty in Concert
Divine Beauty in concert will be performed by Birmingham Cathedral’s choir of boys, girls and lower voices.
The programme will include choral and organ music inspired by the cathedral’s four beautiful stained-glass windows. This will include music by Stuart Nicholson, Robert Pearsall, Carl Rütti, June Nixon, Anton Bruckner, John Ireland, Edgar Bainton, Gregorio Allegri and GF Handel.
There will be an opportunity to make a donation towards the conservation of the cathedral’s stained-glass windows if you wish.
While we do not have public toilets available during general visiting, an accessible toilet will be made available during this event.
Access to the nave is step-free and we don’t anticipate opening the galleries unless this is necessary due to capacity.
The Divine Beauty Project is generously supported by National Lottery Players, via a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
