Birmingham Walking Tour: Migration Stories from the Stratford Road

Considered the UK’s most multicultural city, Birmingham is a fascinating place to discover the waves of migrants who have made Britain what it is today. Join this small-group walking tour from vibrant Stratford Road to sample food from around the world, learn about Yemeni, Irish, and Somali immigration, and visit Asian stores. Stops include a Hindu temple, a wedding superstore, abandoned pubs, and a Yemeni restaurant.

How to get there:
We will meet at the car park behind the Bordesley Centre, located on Stratford Street North. Please note – B11 1BP will direct Sat Nav to the correct location. Look out for Vimal carrying the Sampad sign! The tour will end in a different location.
