Athol Masonic Lodge
Freemasonry conjures up many myths and many people believe it is a secret society open only to rich men. You could not be more wrong. Come along, and see who we are, what we do and ask as many questions as you like (Bring your camera).
Freemasonry is a worldwide organisation, open both to men and women. Charity is at the heart of what we do and of the 250,000 men and women in the UK and 5 million worldwide makes us one of the largest charities in the world. We support many national charities in the UK including Cancer Research Royal College of Surgeons, Air Ambulance, Major Disasters and many others. We also support many local charities in our communities. More information here.
Athol Lodge is over 200 years old and our Grade 2 listed buildings were previously a synagogue and over 30 lodges with a total of over 500 Freemasons meet here almost every evening.
We are proud to be known as Freemasons so come and join us on Sunday 17 September 2023, take a tour and ask as many questions as you like, and we will give you the answers.
We are in the heart of the city centre of Birmingham at the bottom end of Severn Street next to the famous MailBox with retail, restaurants and hotel. Parking is available at The Mailbox.
