A Woman’s life at Aston Hall
They say a woman’s work is never done, was a truer word ever spoken? Join us for a special tour looking at the women of Aston Hall.
From the glamour of the lady of the manor to the work of the scullery maid, this special tour focuses on the women of Aston Hall. Barbara Lister and Anne Clobbery, Mistress Walker and Selina Powell; the hall has been every bit shaped as much by the women as the men who lived and worked here.
Pre-booking is essential, we anticipate that this event will be very popular. Tickets are non-refundable.
The Stable Yard Café and gardens will be open from 11am until 4pm.
The Woman’s Life Tour starts as 12.00 and will last approximately 1 hour. After the tour feel free to explore this magnificent mansion at your leisure. The Hall closes at 4pm.
Please note that most of the rooms featured on this tour are accessed by climbing stairs.
