A Walk Through Time

A short guided walk around the junction of the Stratford and Worcester canals and nearby areas, looking at the people and events that have made up their local history. Expect some characters from the past to appear and there will be accompanying music by Peter Churchill with an opportunity to join in with songs.

Meet at 11 am at the car park on the playing Fields. The route is mostly on paths and canal towpaths but does include short sections of uneven ground which are not wheelchair accessible.  Appropriate footwear should be worn. Toilets and refreshments are not available directly on the walk, but venues are available nearby around Kings Norton green

How to get there:
The start is accessible via several bus routes including numbers 45 and 18. Kings Norton Station is about 20 minutes walk away. There is also parking at Kings Norton Playing Fields off the Pershore Road.
