How the ballot works

To enter a ballot, click ‘enter ballot’. After completion, you will see the message ‘Your response was submitted’. This confirms your name has been entered. You will not receive a separate confirmation email.

When you have won a ticket, you will receive an email. To claim your ticket, you will need to reply to the email to confirm you will be able to attend. You will also need to tell us whether you will come alone or bring a guest.

If you do not reply before the deadline, you will lose your ticket.
All winners will be able to bring one guest.

If you have not been contacted by Tuesday 1 September, presume you have not been successful.

If an event happens multiple times, you can apply for all timeslots, but you cannot enter more than once for each timeslot. For example, mailbox tunnel tours are at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. You can enter the ballot for each of these timeslots, but you cannot enter multiple times for the 2pm slot. Duplicate entries for the same timeslot will be removed from the ballot.

All email addresses provided for the purpose of the ballot will be deleted after completion of the draw.
