Home is Where the Arch is!
Explore Northfield from the comfort of your own home! Tina and Suze from Woolly Mammoth Stitch Works are taking to the streets to seek out the historic buildings and spaces that have inspired some of the stitched artworks created by local people as part of the current community tapestry project in the area. Expect some lighthearted banter as they share some stitch-inspiration, discover Northfield using the brand-new Northfield Revealed heritage walking trail, and reveal some fascinating insights about its history, including Northfield’s Norman archway, the OLDEST piece of architecture in Birmingham.
This online event includes a pre-recorded film with LIVE interaction and Q&A. Tune in to share your stories about Northfield in the chat too.
Home is Where the Arch Is! is part of the Northfield Revealed community heritage project being delivered by St Laurence Church. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
