Drawn in the Quarter
Join Ed Isaacs for a journey of drawing around the Jewellery Quarter, sketching local buildings and the newly restored Warstone Lane and Key Hill cemeteries. Ed will be guide you to places and buildings of interest in the area, demonstrate urban sketching techniques and teach you how to make the most of your on-site drawing experience.
The session will start at The Hive on Vittoria Street.
Pencils and sketchbooks will be provided but if you wish to bring your own this would be fine. This workshop is suitable for all levels and no previous experience is required. This event is suitable for people aged 16+.
Ed is an RBSA member artist who explores the urban environment, recording places of interest and resonance through his sketching. He exhibits regularly at Wolverhampton Society of Artists, and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) based in the Jewellery Quarter.
