Aston Alive! Meet the Past
Meet the Past at Aston Hall as part of Birmingham Heritage Week. Explore this magnificent seventeenth century mansion, immerse yourself in history and meet costumed characters from the 13th century to the 1950s. Find out how a medieval barber surgeon would treat you, meet a civil war soldier, and see a multi-period fashion parade.
This event is likely to be extremely popular so pre-booking is highly recommended.
Aston Hall is open from 12pm to 4pm, with the last timed entrance to the Hall at 3pm. Your timed ticket is for entrance to the Hall but we recommend showing up earlier to see the historical displays and explore the grounds which are open from 11.00am (we wouldn’t want you to miss anything!).
The Stable Yard Café and grounds are open from 11am–4pm.
Birmingham Museums Trust is a registered charity and money raised through visiting helps us care for beautiful buildings like Aston Hall.
