Life’s Journey: A Curators Tour
Kate Fryer was a long-standing and important Member of the RBSA. Join a guided tour of Kate’s work on display at RBSA.
Kate Fryer was widely respected as both an artist and art teacher, with a forward-looking approach that made her and her work highly regarded within and beyond the RBSA. RBSA Professor of Art History, Brendan Flynn will provide an overview of Kate’s life and work alongside behind-the-scenes insights into how he curated the exhibition.

There is a lift located next to the reception desk. The staff do not need to be notified about using the lift. The lift is a standard lift and not a disabled lift. Door width is 80cm and the dimensions of the lift are 108cm x 140cm. (3ft 7in x 4ft 7in).
There are accessible toilet facilities within the RBSA Gallery. The toilet is not for sole use of disabled people and is unisex. The toilet can used without a key. Public Car Parks + Newhall Street NCP Car Park is about 200m from the RBSA Gallery. (+ Online parking information) On Street Parking + Meter parking is available in the St. Paul’s Square area and is free on Sundays. + Blue-badge-holders can park directly outside the Gallery entrance The outdoor pavement is level with the double doors of the Gallery entrance, providing easy wheelchair access.
