Holy Trinity Parish Church Sutton Coldfield
Our Heritage Open Day 2021 is an opportunity to visit our stunning Grade I listed church building with its many beautiful features and rare historic treasures.
Our day will be officially opened by local dignitaries including the Mayor of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield and our MP, the Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell. There will be fun activities for all ages as well as stalls from local societies, and refreshments.
We will do everything to keep visitors safe within government guidelines and hope it may still be possible to view the church interior and to climb the church tower, weather and height restrictions also permitting. Visitors should also be able to view our ancient sundial and the gravestone of Mary Ashford in the grounds of the wider conservation site which include the colourful Vesey Gardens.
We are pleased to be part of both national Heritage Open Days and Birmingham Heritage Week 2021. The national theme for Heritage Open Days is Edible England and we will be using local examples of historical recipes.
