Guided tour of St Laurence Church
A guided tour of the inside of this historic Church which includes very fine medieval stonework in the chancel, a wooden nave roof, outstanding stained-glass windows by Hardmans of Birmingham and a rare barge board porch. Tour led by Stuart Andrew who has lots of very interesting stories about the church and its characters throughout history. Don’t miss the Norman Arch Door on the outside and the tower with 13th century lancet windows.
After the tour, why not complete a circular walking trail around historic Northfield. There are some real treats to be discovered – both historical and quirky. Trail leaflet available from the church.
