The ‘Best of Birmingham’ running tour
Are you looking for a heritage experience in Birmingham with a difference? This is the perfect way to get a complete taster of the city. On the run of course.
We offer a guided 10km run showcasing the very Best of Birmingham. We will quite literally run through 1620 years of Birmingham’s history, pausing at some of the cities best spots to hear about it’s heritage while you catch your breath.
Our stretches of running will be along idyllic canal paths and city streets lined with architectural beauties and skilful street art. You’ll see hidden gems as well as the city’s great landmarks in Birmingham’s centre, Jewellery Quarter and Digbeth.
The stops are an opportunity to take photos and learn about things you’d have otherwise run past. You’ll hear about amazing inventions that changed the world from inventors that were both great and evil, be inspired by the development of Birmingham’s gay scene and discover what happened to the FA Cup that was lost here.
At the end you have the option to join us for sociable post run refreshments which are included as part of your ticket. As this is optional we haven’t included it in the time frame for the activity. Digital photos from your own personal photographer (one of us) are also included.
Let’s talk pace: leisurely and enjoyable. Runners of ALL abilities are welcome to run with us. We run as a group and no one gets left behind.
Get ready to explore our beloved Brum like never before, through mind, body and sole.
