Birmingham Co-op History display
This photographic display will tell the story of co-operative trading in Birmingham from the founding of the Birmingham Co-operative Industrial Society in 1881 onwards using archive images and text. It will particularly show stores, delivery vehicles and co-operative activities in the City Centre and Erdington areas.
Photo above is the Erdington Co-op store in 1936.
