St Chad’s Cathedral was the first Catholic Cathedral to be built in England after the Reformation. Beneath the Cathedral is a large Romanesque crypt containing several chantry chapels which are not usually open to visitors. This tour offers a unique opportunity to be guided through the history of the Cathedral and Catholic faith.
You can visit the Cathedral of St Chad without booking onto these special tours but please avoid mass times. Mass times can be found on the website.
