Birmingham’s Early Maps 1731-1831
Local map specialist John Townley explores the growth of Birmingham through the first century of its town maps! You’ll have the opportunity to see a wide selection of our earliest maps and find out why they were made, when they were made, how they were made, and… can they be trusted?!
At present there will be 6 spaces available on the workshop. We may increase the numbers if circumstances allow.
