Chamberlain Highbury Estate Open Day
The Chamberlain Highbury Trust (CHT) was established in 2016 to raise funds and establish a plan for the restoration of Highbury (Highbury Hall and the surrounding Estate) in Moseley. We were delighted to have received funds from National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England to carry out work in the grounds at Highbury and the Highbury Gardens Project is now near completion. On Heritage Open Day we will set up stalls in areas around the estate as well as inside the Mansion to demonstrate the changes and improvements we are making.
Highbury was gifted for the benefit of the people of Birmingham and is situated at the edge of Highbury Park. CHT is all about sharing Highbury with the community, so please come and have a walk through the grounds, meet our team and be see for yourself the restoration progress and new views around the estate. We are engaging volunteers to help with the groundwork and become part of Highbury’s future. If you are interested in becoming a grounds volunteer, please get in touch via social media or email us.
Entry is free and you can access Highbury from the Yew Tree Road, Moseley or via the park.
