A gift to the City: Cannon Hill Park

Cannon Hill Park was gifted to the city nearly 150 years ago as a green space for its citizens to enjoy. Since Covid-19 we are all too aware how important these green spaces are for our well-being. Join this relaxed walk to hear more about the heritage value of the park (the park is Grade II* listed), looking at the original design and lay-out of the park, the structures and statues, as well as features that have disappeared and recent additions.

This guided walk is organised by the Birmingham Civic Society, a membership organisation focussed on encouraging pride in our city and making Birmingham a better place for everyone.
