Brum’s Big Conservation Area Buz Tour
Big Brum Buz Stop (opposite Starbucks on Victoria Square). Waterloo Street, Victoria Square, Birmingham B1 1BD
Did you know Birmingham has 30 Conservation Areas? To kick-off Heritage Week and mark the 50th anniver-sary of Conservation Areas, Birmingham Civic Society are organising a guided tour of Birmingham’s Conservation Areas. Join us on the Big Brum Buz as we pick up some of the Conservation Areas from around the city – telling you the stories behind them and why they are areas of special interest for our city.
The tour will finish at The Gunmaker’s Arms in the Gun Quarter where you will be able to enjoy a pint of Birmingham Civic Society’s Civic Pride ale, specially brewed by The Two Towers Brewery to celebrate the Society’s Centenary Year in 2018.
Ticket price includes a pint of Civic Pride or glass of house wine/soft drink. Birmingham Civic Society are partnering with Civic Voice, Birmingham Architectural Association and the RIBA West Midlands and the event is kindly sponsored by EHSmith.
