Come and look round this large Victorian Gothic Anglo-Catholic church with its cathedral-like columns and stone vaulting designed by John Loughborough Pearson, architect of Truro Cathedral. View the magnificent Arts and Crafts reredos in St Patrick’s Chapel with five painted panels by Birmingham Artist by Kate Bunce in a beaten copper surround by her sister Myra.
Self guided tour cards are available to use at your own pace, guide books are for sale and when possible members of the congregation will be available to show you round the building and tell you about its history.
The Church will be open to visitors from 9.00am. to 5.00pm. Thursday to Sunday, but visitors are requested to respect the dignity of the Masses from 12.30pm. to about 1.00pm. on Thursday, from 9.00am to about 9.30am on Saturday and from 10.00am to 11.00am. on Sunday, either by avoiding these times or by remaining quiet and avoiding the areas of the building in use on each occasion. The church will be closed Monday to Wednesday.
Light Refreshments will be available in the Church Hall, St Patrick’s Room.
